Compare the routes

Four countries. One of them is cheap and recognised.

Families are usually choosing between these four. The differences that matter are tuition, and whether the degree lets you register with the GMC without sitting PLAB.

Italy and Bulgaria both avoid PLAB. The difference is the money: Italian public tuition can be a fraction of the Bulgarian fee. Recognition without PLAB is subject to a government review in 2028.
